Jack in the Box is dedicated to making a positive difference in the communities in which our employees, franchisees and guests work and live. Established in 1998, The Jack in the Box Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization that primarily supports causes that help children and at-risk youth improve their lives. In addition to providing financial support, Jack in the Box encourages employees to get personally involved in their communities by volunteering.

Operation Bigs

One of our primary community partners is Big Brothers Big Sisters, which is the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network. Operation Bigs, which provides mentors to children from military families, is a Big Brothers Big Sisters’ program that we’re especially proud to support. The Jack in the Box Foundation helped launch Operation Bigs in 2004 and continues to provide financial support.

Among the other organizations that The Jack in the Box Foundation supports are the following:

  • March of Dimes
  • YMCA
  • Rady Children’s Hospital
  • USS Midway Museum
  • Junior Achievement
  • Preuss School
  • Monarch School
