Jack in the Box is dedicated to making a positive difference in the communities in which our employees, franchisees and guests work and live. Established in 1998, The Jack in the Box Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization that focuses on changing children’s lives through a national partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Operation Bigs , which provides mentors to children from military families, is a Big Brothers Big Sisters’ program that we’re especially proud to support. The Jack in the Box Foundation helped launch Operation Bigs in 2004 and continues to provide financial support.

A popular holiday fundraiser at Jack in the Box has raised more than $1.2 million for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Since 2008, restaurants have sold a limited-edition antenna ball or ornament, with all proceeds benefiting the mentoring agency.

Another major fundraiser supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters is an annual golf tournament supported by franchisees, vendors and Jack in the Box employees. The event has raised more than $3 million for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

In addition to financial support, Jack in the Box encourages employees to get personally involved in their communities by volunteering. And leadership starts at the top, as evidenced by Chairman of the Board & CEO, Lenny Comma, who is active on the national Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
