Jack in the Box is dedicated to making a positive difference in the communities in which our employees, franchisees and guests work and live. One way that we give back is through the Jack in the Box Foundation. Established in 1998, the Jack in the Box Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that primarily supports causes that help at-risk children and youth. Some of our primary community partners are:
Jack in the Box partners with No Kid Hungry to ensure children have access to three healthy meals a day.
Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign is ending child hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day.
The Jack in the Box Foundation donates to the Preuss School to help provide transportation and scholarships to low-income students who strive to become the first in their families to graduate from college.
The Jack in the Box Foundation teams up with our employees and franchisees to help children being cared for by Children’s Hospitals. Our contributions help Children’s Hospitals offer families the promise of a healthier future.
The Jack in the Box Foundation helped Big Brothers Big Sisters launch Operation Bigs, which provides mentors to children from military families.
The Jack in the Box Foundation teams up with our employees, franchisees and guests to raise money for March of Dimes’ annual Walk. Our donations help improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
The Jack in the Box Foundation sponsors Every Monday Matters, which inspires youth to understand how much they matter and empowers them to make a difference. Jack in the Box employees teamed up with Every Monday Matters to install hand-painted tiles at Monarch School, which serves youth impacted by homelessness. Monarch School is another community partner of the Jack in the Box Foundation.
Jack in the Box and its franchisees additionally support our restaurant communities on a local level, partnering with organizations including Make-A-Wish, Children’s Hospitals, March of Dimes, Little Kids Rock (an organization that provides music education funding and instruments to public schools), scholarship programs, and the American Red Cross.
Beyond providing financial support, the company encourages employees to volunteer and provides them with opportunities to participate in group efforts through our Brand Ambassadors program. Brand Ambassadors are employees who give back to the community by volunteering for activities ranging from serving meals to seniors to refurbishing homes for disabled veterans.
